I only saw the second half, but we had zero goal threat from what I saw. Did Kelman look like he’s bulked up? I don’t mean fat, I am talking upper body muscle. Zach was quality in what I saw from him again.

Wanted to watch but decided against..Looks and sounds as though I made the right choice I sort of enjoyed it. Not much of a spectacle but didn’t expect it to be. Just enjoyed seeing a game and the new players in action. It got feisty at times, surprisingly so. Where else these days can you get 90 minutes entertainment for a tenner. Richie moaning at the referee and at one point shoving one of their players. Beckles getting caught on the ball. Keeper wandering out in no man’s land and nearly getting caught out. Not too many shots (no surprise there then, the box remains a no-go area) and opponents who looked like they were taking it really seriously. Red/yellow cards. Could have been worse, imagine travelling to see it. |

From what Richie said it appears they need to look at where the match is to be played (pitch too small and too dry) and maybe not play the Spanish who appear not to have the word friendly in their dictionary. More work from the backroom staff required.
