Recently saw a pic of Bob latchford towering over our Paul Harris to head Birmingham's winner,and so gain them promotion in that vital last game of 71/72. Was there that night supposed 33000,but loads bunked in it was so easy to do so.must've been near 40000. Great season of money making esp after the cup run and prize money.happy days Did you ever see Dennis Rofe play ?

Does anyone remember Bill Roffey v Sunderland. Sunderland player committed an awful foul on Bill, I seem to remember him walking 20 yards to the player smacked him on the jaw and was walking off before ref did anything Finest left hook on a football pitch you'll ever see, think it was Wayne Entwhistle, Bill didn't wait for the ref to get to him, walked himself off, I'll remember it till my dying day. |

I remember he left for Millwall under a cloud of bitterness This is my take on it, At the time Bill and the Orient were talking about Testimonials our gates were very low and therefore Bill put off the Match hoping for an upturn in attendances, which didn't arrive, dates came and went till eventually the club said it had taken so long, they withdrew the invatation |

Will the various works going on be completed before our opener v Bolton? If so I take it we will sell out around 9000.plus tv money for the club.Can't wait I went over there this morning to get Charlton tickets , the refurbishment in the East stand looks good but I don't think the toilets look any bigger ( although i didn't see inside of them ) so it will still be long queing at half time 🤔 , a workman there reckons everything will be done by about next Thursday 👍 |

I must admit, I miss the bar and the automatic beer dispensing machines aren’t going to encourage me to get to the ground early. Two lagers and one stout. Still next game in East is likely to Orient v Blackpool. Will be in West for Arsenal U21, and then the perfect storm of not being able to make any home games until November  . Mrs ArrGee insisted on a vacation at end September, so won’t be able to see Os v Wrexham. Can’t make any Tuesdays this year. Just as well I didn’t get a season ticket. |

Let's be honest, we're not gonna make it to the Championship anytime soon, our capacity is fine for a third/fourth division club.

Doesn't look like money well spent atm. Maybe should've waited to see what impact the TV deal would have on attendances before expanding the capacity of a stadium we don't own. Hopefully we'll start getting more in the stands after August.

We have always been a small club in London and always will be and personally I don’t care if we are “Little Leyton Orient .
Empty seats ,well yer we had loads of them last season as well .

If any of us want to support a big club in a 70,000 ground, there's nothing stopping us from taking a 38 bus up Lea Bridge Road and watching Arsenal.
We all support Orient because
we're real fans who watch real football.

Attendances are always sluggish in August.
Last season we had the feel good factor of coming up as champions and being back in League 1, so no surprise we are a couple of hundred down so far this season.
