According to the 'other' board he has an Achilles injury and misses the opening games of the season ☹️

A player who will always be an injury just waiting to happen. And we’ve certainly have had a fair share of those Yes indeed and the one young goal scoring forward Os had who was injury free, has fled the nest and gone to Bristol Rovers !

He has fled the nest but is now injured with a torn calf and will miss the start to the season.Nothing is guaranteed in football and any player can get injured at any time

Also, as you get older the more frequently these injuries tend to happen, sad but true !

He has fled the nest but is now injured with a torn calf and will miss the start to the season.Nothing is guaranteed in football and any player can get injured at any time ''a torn calf'' That is not usually a long term injury and on average a reasonably quick recovery time with no long term repercussions. Knee and ankle injuries are often a lot worse and can be career ending. I have suffered knee injuries since I was around 21. First it was ACL on my right knee in 1970 which happened when playing football, then ruptured my left knee cartilage in a gardening accident in 2001. Used to think I was immune to football injuries until I did my ACL and in those times there was little to no treatment for that injury. Brian Clough was a great goal scoring centre forward and a torn knee ACL ended his football playing when he was in his prime'
Footnote on Brian Clough ''Clough played as a striker for Middlesbrough and Sunderland, scoring 251 league goals in 274 matches; he remains one of the Football League's highest goalscorers. He won two England caps. He entered management after his playing career was ended by a serious injury at the age of 29''

My calves are knackered! I've got so much scar tissue it's scary. I keep on getting them streigtened for want of a better word so I can do things. Otherwise my calf locks up and tears.
The physio remarked your calves are massive and well defined. I said that's OK but they give me so many problems it's annoying. I need a new session now actually as I've got the shine walk coming up and that's a marathon so I need them working correctly!

Too explosive pace in my playing days causes me no end of problems now.

Thought Jordan Graham was next to Richie when they were filming the Guess Who video with Archibald. If it was him then he hasn’t headed back home for treatment. Hopefully whatever the calf issue is, his not playing is precautionary rather than anything else.

Wellens has confirmed that the Bolton Wanderers game is likely to be too soon for Graham and the most likely scenario is that he will be an “ impact sub” for the first 4 weeks or so.

Better to wait until he is ready. Shame. Two wide players not ready with Theo out too. Lots of games in the first 8 weeks too.

Has there been any update on his fitness? Answering myself, Richie says in his post match interview he needs another two weeks.
