Love to see a high finish but suspect we will be about 15 in the table.

Bottom half of the middle group. 15th/16th. But that’s OK. Definitely not good enough for the playoffs but half a dozen worse off than us. A season where modest survival is a great result.

I reckon we will come in bang on where we finished last season. 11th. Which will be a bloody good result considering the composition of the division this season. This will of course, be complemented by a cup run where I predict we will get into the quarter finals of the FA Cup.

The optimist in me says 6th, the realist 10th.
I rate RW as one of the top 3 managers in this division, which is why without too many injuries, I believe we will do well.

There are so many variables here, its almost impossible to give an accurate forecast.
If we can avoid long term injuries to our most important players ( Agyei), then we could end up mid table, but all teams get injuries, and as our squad is threadbare, i think we will be bottom 6
I dont think the club has done well in this years transfer window, and with four or five injuries and suspensions, the team will look very weak
So my prediction is 21st, & relegation.
I really hope im wrong, I will be heartbroken if we go down

I predict we will recall Pigott in January after he scores 15 goals for Wimbledon

I suppose it will stretch resources. Some think it will lift morale and help with league form. I'm not sure what to think.

I'm going for 18th, not seeing enough goals for a higher placing

As I recall RW was extremely irate at our defeat at Chesterfield last year and made reference in his post game remarks to the fact that we needed a good cup run to boost finances.

Keep the faith, dark horses this season. We will be in and around the playoffs. On our day with this squad we are more than capable of this divisions company. Here's hoping for more of our days than not Up the o's and a playoff run

Quarter final in the FA Cup without relegation would be reasonable, though I'd enjoy a reasonably safe last ten games in mid table. I vaguely remember Richie saying something about it not being worth playing away at Stoke (?) in the next round, "Who remembers you for that?". I could be wrong or maybe it was another of his strops.

Lucky we have players capable of playing in different positions. We are so short as it stands if injuries occur after the window shuts its down to our kids

The window being open makes this one a difficult call for a couple of reasons. I personally don’t think we have he squad depth to fight on all fronts this coming season, we are an injury away from disaster on top of this we have a long term injuries to Theo and Jordan just returning from one. Our defence is solid and will be a major plus for us this year as I think we will look to block out this end of the pitch whilst trying to nick a goal and defend it. Listening to Richie there will not be another full back coming in and we may see Dan H cover that spot should TJ get injured, personally I think this will be the making of Sweeney.
Midfield we lack cover out wide with Theo and Jordan out at present, although when both back at full fitness I struggle to see better wide players in the league then the four we have. George is clearly according to RW unfit and is unprofessional at times which is I am sure is aimed at his fitness levels and ability to get and stay fit. If he doesn’t realise the only way is down from here then he is the architect of his own downfall. On his day he could be the best player in the whole league and he is the only person stopping that from happening. I fear we will lose Ethan in the Jan window as he deal runs out in June next year as he will potentially be the star man in our team. If all 10 players were fit and available then we have a decent unit however, 2 are injured one is unfit and Pegrum is untried so it’s looking a bit light in that respect. Zach is going to be another like Ethan who will be superb this coming season.
Forwards this is what scares me. If Dan A stays fit he will score us 20 goals of that I’m sure however, again his contract runs out next June and clubs will be lining up to take him in Jan if he has a good first half of the season. Kelman (hope he proves me wrong) isn’t good enough, Perkins nice touches looks to shoot and once he understands “mens” football and what RW wants he will be fine and is capable of replacing Ruel’s goals, it’s just how long will that transfer take? That’s it. We are short in this department and the one area under pressure the most.
Last season we were capable of getting promoted and only a very poor winter transfer window cost us that chance. This season this league is very tough, tougher than it’s been for sometime and I fear we lost a bloody good opportunity to jump a division quickly. So where do I think we will finish? My head says 18th despite last year my prediction of 8th, I think we are going to find it tough, a lot of games are going to be one nil like when we won the league. Keeping players fit is going to be a struggle and our discipline may well cost us too. However, in RW we have a top manager who will drive this team on, the first 11 looks decent, depth is an issue and with Dan A firing the goals in we will be tough to beat, but how many times will our best 11 be on the pitch? Last season injuries cost us massively and a lack of depth when it was needed towards the end of the season really done for us in the end. Like I said 18th is what my head says, but my belief in our manager says 9th.

Nobody has really given much of a mention towards our new signing Lewis Warrington. He could be a real find and our midfield is looking yo and exciting. Not many were that excited when we first brought in Idris and that didn't turn out too bad
