1. I am not sure the purchasing of the optional membership is actually very beneficial if you live abroad and have no plans to returning to the uk
2. I paid the 195 pounds as shown the “saving “ to 170 pounds is basically similar to the additional cost which gets you the discount.
3. I used my log in that I used last season that gets in to be able to then purchase whatever plan you choose. When I first went in the tv web page to purchase without logging on the system will not allow you to proceed. I believe you were watching tv last season so just use your previous log in username and password to proceed.
4. I do not think you would be denied any access if you choose just to pay the 195 annual membership- I was able to watch the interview of the the new coach and the daggers match - maybe there are other stuff you could watch or hear ? - but I doubt it
