Although not a great rock fan I do watch a lot of programmes about old rock groups and songs by some professor or other, amazing how much vanity destroys most groups.CCR have you ever seen rain on a sunny day tells of these differences and Come up and see me(make me smile)by Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel. I kinda like the Oasis sound so look forward to anything new they may come up with.

My two youngest were babies when I last saw them at the penultimate concert before they split up. My daughter just came down and said can we go to every date they've booked please!
That's the beauty of Oasis there so many youngsters who've never seen them play, can now go and watch them live. So people like me who were in their 20's when they are started will be there with this née generation who've never seen them.
It's going to be epic.

They may fall out again before their first ‘gig’. Buyer beware. But you just gotta roll with it I guess.

Yup I have a few guilty pleasures as liking old pop or rock groups are called. One of the good things about liking almost any type of music despite having a preference.Just so many great songs that deserve another play.Just learned how good Eddie Cantor and his song making whoopie was.A firm favourite is My Indiana Home played at the Indy 500 every year.

Plenty are saying about falling out and cancelling etc. But even at their most hated phase it never happened till they split up.
It's gonna happen of that I'm sure. Too much money at stake! Apparently £400m

They'll begrudgingly trudge through the hits in a series of unremarkable and overpriced gigs to keep their accountants happy. Was a fan growing up but it's hard to get excited about this.

They certainly will be the best rock n roll bank in 2025. My son and gig going friend asked me about it, but I won’t be seeing them for umpteen reasons including tickets over £100, Wembley stadium and having seen them twice before in the 1990s along with solo Liam and Noel’s Angry Birds. Of course, if a reasonable priced ticket comes my way, I will go (highly unlikely). Besides I am keeping the summer free so I can go to The Boomtown Rats 50th anniversary mega gig. Now they really are the greatest rock n roll band in the world (from Dun Laoghaire).

Was really nice to me at Maida Vale when they did a session there, but a little offish towards me in Dublin post gig. Also bumped into him in Cork, well he trod on my toes in the hotel bar! Didn't talk much that night.

Amy I've purchased recently or looked at were all over that amount. I'm going to the Joshua fight and a £200 ticket is now over £300. My usual ticket was about £350 is now four figures. Everything is going mental price wise.

Everything is going mental price wise. I have paid £90 for a gig (The Who & Pulp), but I just cannot see myself paying over £100. That written I did pay €216 for Ireland V Scotland in Rugby World Cup and £175 for Wimbledon Men's Final. I am resisting going to see Oasis but with my son planning to go and my best friend doing likewise there is a slim possibility they persuade me to go along... ...I rarely pay more than £30 for concerts. I did pay £60 for Paul Weller and £45 for James/Razorlight recently but they are exceptions. £100 plus is a massive leap for me.

Two Tier Kier, along with Robber Reeves. While he was going on about locking up those involved in the recent riots, not a word said about the chaos and crime at the Notting Hill Carnival !! Police attacked, knife crimes, urinating in the streets and house gardens. Further arrests were made for sexual offences, drugs, robberies and a range of other crimes. Despite the high number of arrests and heavy police presence, a retired Met Police detective chief inspector yesterday claimed officers are hesitant to make arrests during the event for fears of being called racist. Mike Neville spoke to the Daily Telegraph where he leaned into the growing conspiracy theory that two-tier policing exists in Britain.
He said: If the behaviour of the Notting Hill Carnival was replicated at football matches or any other event it would be banned.' Mr Neville has claimed that many revellers at the event openly smoke illegal drugs in front of police officers without fear of arrest as proof of his allegation.
