Could have been better could have been worse.Definately a game I'll be going to new ground premier league opposition should get allocation of around 3,000 looking forward to it

My Colchester supporting mate said they didn't look like much tonight. Not brilliant in terms of a payday but a PL team we might actually be able to get a result against 🤷

Winnable tie that is. The bees won't put out a strong team and we will have our best out, it's gonna be interesting.

Big club away where we’d get some decent gate money was my preference.
Unfortunately Brentford don’t tick that box and for them the League cup is something they probably have eyes on getting to the final in, so reckon they’ll put out a strong side.

Saw the draw on the rolling headline on Sky this morning,watching all the teams we would love to play passing by and envious of some the league teams had drawn.Then we rolled up and was saddened and half pleased at the same time.

This competition is rigged, it just doesn't interest me I hadn't realised it, but apparently all the 'big' clubs, as well as being given a bye thus far, have automatically been kept apart in the next round and given a home tie. So, yes, the competition is a complete farce. |
