He has not improved since he was with us last time. Ignore the propaganda and watch him play. Same old, same old. Runs around a lot, will get the odd goal. But an out and out striker he is definitely not. Far too many missed good chances. He has cost us as much up front as Hemming as in goal this season. He is not good enough. We can only hope he hits a purple patch and slots in a few. But he fits our profile, headless chicken for 90 minutes, good enough! Very strong opinion dohnut and in my humble opinion very harsh on the mentioned player. We lost to a very well instructed Exeter team.Maybe the problem does not belong to Kelman. Many players have frustrated us this season.and are not doing what is wanted for table progression. I guess red I’m less impressed by a lot of running around and more by impact. The point being in my opinion he is no better than when here before. Before he ran around and scored the odd goal. He is running around a lot and unless something dramatic happens will chip in the odd goal. We need more.

Watch the matches from the East Stand and you might have a different opinion.See the whole of the game and how it is working out.Yesterday almost everything we tried did not work,Exeter were just too good for us.They had two or three players that played exceptionally well and we had one and that was the keeper. He was often frustrated by the players not moving upfield quicker when he had the ball and wanted a quick kick or throw to start an attack. After about 15 minutes I just watched the game fully expecting the result we got,I did not feel the usual way I do when we lose, bad play, bad tactics(if any)and a well drilled Exeter team saw to that. Still, losing one game out of five ain't bad,we seem to be better away than at home and we have been for a long long time.

His minutes per goal figures are quite poor. And he gets opportunities. Either to get shots away or get into positions to score. Not a natural finisher but a really hard worker. Hope he improves, we are relying on him a lot.

A prediction;Charlie(Chuck) Kelman will get above 12 goals this season.A willing hardworking player not averse to having a snap shot at goal.Come on fellow supporters give him a break.

I hope you are right, if you are Kelman would have proven me wrong. I still think the formation is wrong, sort that out and I think goals will be easier to come by than they are now. However, I also respect the manager massively and support what he does. Our play is good of that there is no doubt, we just need goals to finish off the fine work being done by the team.

He is 3 in 10 so that average is just about on target. Give him a break? I’d absolutely love the guy to get 20. I’ll cheer every goal he gets. We all want the same thing, someone who is a real goal scoring threat. A ratio of 1:4, slightly better if he gets 12 : 46 that ratio will be an improvement on past stats, overall 1:7 and with us before 1:6 in a league 2 championship winning team. Scoring against Crewe to seal our promotion.

We are all frustrated at the moment Thor,an evil early fixture list has once again not helped but we are getting our act together despite Tuesdays setback.Losing one out of five ain't bad and that included two draws where we outplayed the 'better'teams. Let’s look at reality rather than the propaganda. Our early fixtures were not evil at all - as the current table proves beyond doubt. Neither Bolton nor Charlton are doing very much at all, Birmingham tough but Shrewsbury the other extreme. So not really as tough as we are led to believe. Our performances against these teams were OK, bar Shrewsbury, but not great. Reality vs propaganda. We have improved since then for sure, some moments when very good. But equally moments when we just faded away and were plain poor. A real mixed bag. i started to get excited in bits vs Posh and for an hour against Wrexham but in truth, in both games we had bad spells too. Then Exeter, the less said the better. I form my views on what I see and not club statements, largely and rightly aimed at building player confidence. That’s it. 4 or 5 against Exeter pushing that to the limits. Bottom line is we need to get better and importantly consistent. Lots of work for the coaches to do, and quick.

Ah well that has put me in my place.I crawl therefore I am............WRONG.But never mind,I still have Beethoven and my poetry.I read the first two chapters of George Orwell's The road to Wigan Pier this morning.I looked around my bedroom and had a thought about my life and thank these people who George wrote of who went to war in 1939 and helped with my relative luxury and by their standards a carefree life due to their actions. Not all of course some were Idlers.
