So a day off from the stress/excitement of following the O’s and I was wondering what you’ll be doing instead. Me, I’m going to watch my local tennis club finals. Padel today, singles and doubles tomorrow, weather permitting.

Get your Orient footy fix on Sunday with a women's game at Buckhurst Hill. 2pm kick off against local Tier-7 rivals Chigwell FC.
The girls are P6 W6 in pre-season and will probably introduce some exciting new signings against Chigwell. Our Larry has seen some of them and reckons we're considerably stronger, more athletic and talented than last years' side.
The ground is at Buckhurst Hill FC's Myrak Park ground on Roding Lane. I think you'll enjoy the event and will likely get to see an Orient win. Free entry, free parking, refreshments available.

Watching my 15 year old play his final cricket match of the season. Excellent choice, what a joy cricket is to watch at any level.Shame you do not see street six and out cricket now, even on the nearly dark evenings under the lamp post. Those days are all gone now sadly. I remember playing cricket in the garden with my three brothers,I was batting and put the ball straight through the kitchen window, what made me laugh was the hole was the same shape as the cricket ball without a crack elsewhere. We all scarpered because my father was a miserable sod at times.

Assuming not rained off, will watch Andover Town. They are having a bad time following relegation to the Hampshire Senior League but a cup game today and should win. But we all know about should-win games. But it’s a game and 5 minute drive.

We have youth football all weekend. We started hours before dawn to get my daughter to her tournament north of Charlotte NC. She’s at the age where a lot of girls quit playing football, so the number of teams have plummeted. The girls have to have a ton of desire to play because there are many fewer teams at this age level, and there are early games and long drives most weekends. It is good bonding time, but it’s a lot for them.
My daughter is a little extra motivated today because we went and watched a fantastic women’s college team last week which featured some excellent players including Liverpool FC club player/England U19 Emily Brough among other fantastic players. It was a one sided game, but the losing team got an Olimpico which shocked the crowd almost as much as the corner taker and the small crowd was buzzing. Two more goals came in for the better team, and things went back to normal. The losing team signed autographs for the girls after the game and freely spoke with the girls after playing hard until the final whistle while getting shellacked. The level of maturity was impressive, and my daughter and I had a nice discussion about dealing with setbacks and not getting carried away.

Lastly what is this you are talking about ''but the losing team got an Olimpico'' Never heard such a saying before ?

Rethink. Just realised loads of games on NowTv. me sorted. 👍👍👍
Might see how Ruel is getting on for Rovers at Barnsley. And see how Wrexham cope with super Shrewsbury. And see Evans get stuffed at Charlton. Flipping across games. Heaven.

Wonder what the fault was that made the head gasket keep going, perhaps the head was warped ? My mum had a new Ford Prefect for 4 years, she purchased it in 1958 and sold it in 1960. I it was a 4 door car, nice little car and very reliable. I recall the 100E was a side valve engine. I had a right knee replacement done in March this so just starting to do gardening and car jobs again and thankfully I can kneel ok on the ground and get up again on the knee replacement knee with little to no pain. That was a big worry for me before getting this operation done especially after reading of your own problems with your knee replacement knee.

Yes South Carolina USA. Olimpico is just a fancy name for a corner kick that goes in untouched by any other player for a goal. I’ve learned the term from the kids.
