Deserved the 3 points today I thought. Tailed off in the latter stages but pleasing to get off the mark and credit to all but especially Hemming who looked much better . Not sure why we keep picking up so many yellow cards!

Is there no come back on these officials ?? Declan Bourne As referee and his team were dreadful in their one sidedness ! 5 yellows with some for just playing football as it should be played and not fouls and none for Reading who got away with murder today.

The yellows were for stupid actions and according to the laws, a yellow can be given. Blame is with us. Not too sure any of our yellows were for fouls. In that respect the referee was consistent.

Omg Jame’s corners are simply awful for a player who can deliver great balls, his corners are somewhat wanting.

Sorry, don’t agree. To be petty and give yellows for “stupid actions” if that is what they were is reprehensible if at the same time he then ignores actual fouls, like a blatant push in the back knocking Brown over (when Brown had the ball) right in front of the coaches which is one example of what were quite a few. I cannot understand how Jame’s tackle which was brilliant could be viewed as a stupid action. He is a defender who defended , he took the ball and never touched the player but their player ran onto his leg and went down.

What a difference decent full backs make, what a performance from Currie, easily the MOM in my eyes

Yes, consistently bad.

Suddenly with the 2 new players coming in we seem to have real competition for places in the squad.Reading is a really difficult place to go a win and they would have been full of confidence having just beaten Charlton at home.I do worry we seem a bit light upfront but it's great to be up and running

All teams aim for 2 players for each position. I believe we have that now.

I thought Happe's card was completely undeserved - it didn't seem to me that he was kicking the ball away but following through his action just as the ref blew the whistle.
