That's right. I would never vote Labour but Sir Kier will be a God in my eyes and most of the rational part of the nation if he reverses the BREXIT DISASTER. REJOIN EU and save Britain

REJOIN EU and save Britain What the so called ''BREXIT DISASTER'' that never happened ! Meanwhile Germany's government announced plans to impose tighter controls at all of the country's land borders in what it called an attempt to tackle irregular migration and protect the public from threats such as Islamist extremism. Meanwhile Other EU countries set to follow and Hungary has already done so.

The Premier League are terrified of an independent regulator. That alone makes me think it's a rather good idea. I don't really give a toss if we get kicked out of the Euro's if that's the price we have to pay for football being protected from asset stripper owners.

Hungary hasn't. It's borders between Croatia (25 mins from me), Slovenia, Austria and Slovakia are all un-staffed and fully open - they are all Schengen states, Romania is not. Schengen countries are allowed to make border crossing checks from time to time but there's a maximum time limit.

Typical right wing anti immigrant propaganda spread by the same old made up sources. Same old stereotyping of people who disagree with you. Exports always gets brought up. We have moved up the table for the biggest exporters since Brexit. We are free to deal with the whole world now not be told by the EU who we can deal with and the terms. Our recent growth is better than our EU friends. As for immigration, Our EU neighbours are moving closer to our position, Germany and others even considering the Rwanda model. Perhap you need to look at political movement in the EU. Our Employment good, unemployment down whilst net legal migration remains positive. I suggest you look at U.K. size of population over the past 20/40 years. Either we are breeding like rabbits or people are being allowed to move here. The U.K. has a very good and long running history in this area. Anti-immigration - do your research. The country was built on immigration. The legal type. We are in control of our own future. Whether we succeed or fail down to us. We managed for centuries to create a great trading nation before we went into the EU. Trade as well as many other aspects like innovations, education (our Universities remain amongst the worlds best) and as a country a backbone, fighters for rights and freedom second to none. So much more. Our share of wrongdoing too, no country is perfect. I'm pro EU trading partnerships not EU governance. I’m pro controlled immigration, people who we need to help build the country. I’m strongly against the illegal immigant trade and totally against the direction the EU was going, interestingly slowed with us leaving, the EU were getting it wrong, us going a wake-up call after Frexit and Greaxit was talked about in France and Germany. Many of the post Brexit barriers are being eroded, including limited free movement of people which has been talked about. Now the passions are dying down, Europe realise they want to deal with us too, the niggles being ironed out. Brexit was never short term. Ties are strong and getting stronger. Rather than talk about the negatives (of course for some there were) of Brexit, offer up tp the positives.

Just been reading that some UK tourists will boycott Europe for holidays because of the new travel regulations. Bloody good job, be much nicer for those of us who enjoy a trip abroad to our European neighbours. They might like to know we are also imposing a visa system and its dearer than the EU one.

Im pretty sure the young will take us back in to the EU. The main body of Brexiteers always seemed to be oldies and racists. The racist comment doesn’t stack up when you look at history. As for returning that is a distinct possibility. The older generation are made of sterner stuff with minds of their own. The ones that created most of what is good about the country today. A generation that achieved so much from difficult conditions. Much of what we enjoy to comes from a generation now criticised. Sadly many of the younger generation lack a strong work ethic. Want everything now and expect others to pay for it. Followers not leaders. A generation creating the mess we see more and more of. A worldwide issue

A worldwide issue I’m afraid dohs right about the want it now and can’t wait generation . Even my kids are like that I’m afraid . Do not like the thought of being the “lackies “ of Germany and there pet dog France again with those two telling us how to live and when we can do it etc. The EU isn’t even a democracy with its voting system .

The kids are being brainwashed, have no doubt about that. I've seen the changes down the years as what my youngest two have gone through my eldest didn't.
It's shameful.

I spent most of the last 20 years of my working life in schools and listened to many of the teachers who dared speak to me,all of whom had the same opinion and were gritting their teeth until retirement.

We need to put this anti-immigration stuff to rest, it’s absolutely bolox.
The population of the U.K. has increased by 10 million (10,000,000) since 2000. Anybody wants to tell me we are a country that opposes immigration. That is a staggering increase. Many of those fully integrated into our society, leading useful lives and contributing in so many ways. People wanting a better life. Very welcome. A staggering number for those who think this country is rubbish. The numbers prove otherwise. People need to look at data going even further back. Anti-immigration, don’t make me laugh.
Population density is a big issue. Service provision like NHS and schools is an issue, housing and so on. So whilst immigration helps, which it does in so many ways, it needs to be managed. That is not being anti-immigration that’s being sensible. It is also something now being looked at by our European friends who are waking up to the issues. Saturation point. We are one of the most densely populated larger countries in Europe. As part of the EU we could not manage that at all. Managed immigration is NOT anti-immigration. People need to understand the difference.
Listen to the latest statements from France. “People come to the U.K. by boats because we make it too easy for them when they arrive” That’s from France. It pains me to say they are right and the stats prove they are right.
We are generous with legal immigration and soft on illegal immigration. Anti-immigration? Right.
