I'm not sure of this point, so I'm gonna ask it. The fella dives for the 3rd goal, at that exact point should the ref have blown, award a free kick for simulation and book him? My gut says it plays out, but as he scored the ref bottled the action required in cancelling the goal and awarding the free kick. What do others think? They don't show the handball at the start of the build up to the 2nd goal either.
Lots of positives for us to take from this game and some work to do on improvements for the training ground.

Not too sure there was much in it to be honest. I was more annoyed by the equaliser, the ricochet could have gone anywhere, but the strike was very good. Nor was I impressed with the long cross ball, great cross by defending could have been better. But thereby is the quality difference. Over two thirds of the pitch we more than matched them. Did well

I thought James was very good last night great cross for the goal and played some lovely passes James is class. Goes about his game in a calm no fuss way. Not flash, not excitable. Just good. |
