What a terrible stat. Spurs 74% possession vs Coventry and not a single shot. Not one. Zero. Coventry have managed a few. Watched the game for 30 minutes and it was the biggest load of tripe I’ve seen on a football pitch for some time, and I’ve seen some shockers. Turned it off. A disgrace from the spurs players, walking football at times. At least Coventry seem interested. Bet some of them are on silly money too.

Spurs are a bit two bob.
Ange should have stayed at Celtic. At least he'd have won plenty of trophies year in, year out. Soppybollox went back to Celtic after getting the boot from Leicester.

A point of view.I have always thought and still do that Tottenham Hotspur are the most classiest of all of the capitol cities football clubs.Even their strip ouses class.Probably started that affair with the 1961 double winning side.

I have always had a soft spot for Spurs. They were the first professional football team that I was taken to as a kid when I was around 14 years old, taken by a friend of the family. It was in 1961, the season Jimmy Greaves joined them and what a wonderful team they were to watch play. Later on my dad started taking me to watch his team, Leyton Orient and the first match was Leyton Orient v Burnley, FA Cup 4th round replay on 06 February 1962 and the Os were so unlucky to lose that game 1-0 and I still have the match programme. Of course that was the year Os had to win their last game to gain promotion to Division One and my dad and I both ran onto the pitch at the end of the match against Bury Apr 28, 1962 when two Mal Graham goals ensured promotion. Afterwards dad drove home and we stopped at Epping and got fish and chips, parked up and ate it in the car, plenty of salt and vinegar all wrapped up in newspaper, tasted extra nice that day it did !! How I do miss my dear old mum and dad !

I hope to see my mum and dad, brother and sister and much loved friends and reletives when I pass over to the other side. Well we can only but hope !

Don't get me wrong. I used to support Spurs between 1982 and 1995 and found it frustrating that they couldn't win a title in the last 60 plus years. Frustrating that Arsenal win more trophies, although I don't hate Arsenal.

I have that same hope and after seeing and loving all my family and friends I am off to see Ludvig van Beethoven. The spirit of this great man and his music lifts me more than an Orient win and that win has great healing power to soothe the soul

I like many including of course Beethoven. Other favourites of mine include Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Vivaldi, Handel, Rachmaninoff, Purcell, Borodin just so many wonderful composers.

I liked Miller Roberts and Perryman. True story Steve Perryman spoke to me on the train coming back from Liverpool in 1984 after the team had lost 3-1 to Liverpool. Some of the team were on the train. We got some autographs as well.Ally Dick was also there. Ironically, then next year when I didn't go, Spurs won 1-0 at Anfield for the first time since 1912.

I had lots of spurs fan friends and was a good school friend of Mark Falco. He was spurs mad and always said I'm gonna play for spurs. We all used to laugh and say "yeah course you are mark"

No,I like most classical composers and find new ones daily on you tube,We don't hear much Glinker but I have listened and enjoyed a lot of his work,A great admirer of Dmitri Shostakovich,Schubert and Cipriani Potter,But yes Beethoven beats all by a country mile. The work I have chosen to be euthanised to is the prelude to the cello suites by the father of music the great Johann Sebastian Bach,I love all baroque music especially Teleman.his first movement of his trumpet concerto in D,played by the great Maurice Andre is utter joy.Elevazione by Domenico Zipoli is another that is sheer joy.In short I love it all.

I can understand redshank and Denisrofe liking this stuff. I do too. To a degree. But my take is this. When I listen to the music of the greats the main stuff is excellent but it all too often drifts into what I’d call filler. Nice but no real substance. Solid music padded out to fill the time available. Perhaps that makes me a Luddite. Probably am. I have the same feelings about Jazz. Spend my time thinking what’s that all about, sounds like when the orchestra is warming up. I just do not get it.
Love orchestra music, the Danish National a firm favourite especially when they do Ennio Morricone stuff. I just like his music. Off to see an orchestra playing the music of Pink Floyd in November. People like me just lack class I guess. 😂

I listen to Lotte Lenya with her original version of Kurt Veils Mack the Knife. So much to like in music and I listen to lots via you tube.

Well, Trossard has absolutely shagged it for Arsenal. That deserves a place in the next issue of The book of Quotations.
