He can claim his MEP pension at 63 years of age, under EU law. He was paid €9k per month pre tax and is eligible to receive the max amount allowed of 70% of his salary due to lengh of service as an MEP.

The reason I wanted to know was he continually emphasised “ how much he gave up to back into politics”. He was very damning on his last speech to that parliament it’s on the net. I find rather disturbing that he rubbished that place and other people but stayed there along time and one day will obtain a very nice pension which appears rather substantial He certainly knows where the money is.

He was a metal broker, The guy who single handedly took on the most corrupt non democratic government on the continent of Europe and finally got us out. That final speach he gave to the EU was cheered to the rafters, brilliant guy, The broadcast debate with liberal leader Milliband he destroyed him in the live broadcast

His wife was also very successful so they I’m sure would have been high net worth individuals. He also came from money as his father was a wealthy man having been a stockbroker. I therefore think it’s entirely possible he made some serious cash alongside family wealth. This is an interesting article. www.nakedcapitalism.com/2018/06/small-time-city-operator-nigel-farage-trade-way-fortune-brexit-vote.htmlHe sees gaps and makes quick decisions which provide positive outcomes. Seems like he’s playing the commodity trader game in real life! He’s a populist person and what he did in the last election will I am sure be built upon and with his perceived charm etc. you could be looking at a future PM stranger things have happened.

Yea he is a very good at interviews and under pressure he answers quickly and in a manner of attempting to shut down the interviewer
I ageee with some if his views and he talks from a prospective of intellect without being too posh
The issue I had is with lack of transparency to that pension potential income which after tax will be more than adequate -,whilst continually bragging about how he made financial sacrifices to go back into politics
Bearing in mind he got lucky allocates himself the seat with the best chance of being elected after I believe many years in other regions getting rejected at the polling stations
Based on the quality of recent PM it would not be hard to go for that if he can drum up enough support to actually win next time around

Another poor looser who refuses to accept the result of a democratic vote and then proceed to defame his character. If it were me I would take you to court as I have done in the past to someone else, the fact you have put this in writing makes it a cast iron case. Written word is Libal spoken word is Slander

It did occur and even more money was pumped in by Johnson. It’s been confirmed as having happened. We just have incompetent people running the NHS, politicians who think they know best, too many middle managers and not enough frontline doctors and nurses. inews.co.uk/opinion/devastating-truth-nhs-extra-week-barely-made-difference-2410988

There he may well,l and if he was good have easily made 7 figures a year, every year.

Nigel Farage is a Marmite character. Politics generally seems to be heading for lots of Marmite situations. You either love it, or hate it.

There he may well,l and if he was good have easily made 7 figures a year, every year. But he enjoys the opportunity to possibly become a major noise on tv giving his view on every subject under the sun - thus satisfying his personal goals to be “ important “ - he ain’t going to get that trading commodities.

With respect your subjective conclusion on my post is absolutely insane . I am not jealous or envious why would I be. I watched one of his interviews and he clearly admitted he had a poor marriage - I have a better marriage than him. I also am a modest person who has no need for public adulation or attempting to grasp publicity jetting off to USA to associate myself with Trump, particularly after the “devine” saved Trump life (twice ) Before you try and cast your views on my character or anyone else that post on here get your bloody facts correct on that person - mate

That final speach he gave to the EU was cheered to the rafters, brilliant guy, The broadcast debate with liberal leader Milliband he destroyed him in the live broadcast I should like to correct you on few 'facts' you have wrong. First Farage didnt 'get us out' the EU. A referendum got us out. Early in the evening, after the polls closed, Farage gave a speech admitting defeat. He was totally shocked when it came through, in fact, the leave side was winning. He didnt expect it Second, Milliband wasn't 'liberal leader' , he was at that time leader of the Labour Party

Does anyone know how much pension he receives from the European Government as an ex minister. Does anyone know if he gets his clothes paid for by others, also does he have a private box at a sporting event for free, just for security so people cannot throw cement at him and get away with it

Politics is like a soap opera We have a Lord and Lady unable to pay for their own cloths / glasses etc even though the Lord has been in a high salary for a long time employed in law
He reminds me of Roy Jenkins the socialist who loved his vintage wine.
We have Liz Truss a failed PM now a failure at the baloit box and unelected telling the world on a you tube interview how Stamer is going to wreck the uk - and she is the one that caused the last financial upheaval
We have a news channel filled up with failed politicians interviewing other failed politicians
It’s all a surreal nightmare for the average hard working person I guess
