Posh like sodding about at the back.

I have a feeling Peterborough will be delighted with that result. On the plus side, another promising showing from us.

Half a loaf is better than none I suppose but can’t help feeling that’s two points dropped tbh. Defence looked steadier in the second half but still lacking that finish up top unfortunately. 👍

Fairly routine league 1 game. Maybe should have edged it on chances but either team could have nicked it. Entertaining enough as a contest but not masses of quality on show. Solid if unspectacular. Mistakes on both sides. Unbeaten in 3.

Mistakes on both sides. Unbeaten in 3. I think your assessment is pretty near the mark tbh. Plenty of effort but looked - on tonight’s showing at least - that neither team will be challenging for a play off spot. I think the better chances definitely fell our way but neither goalkeeper produced any stunning saves and it was a bit scruffy at times.

Stats say Orient 36.5% possession - I can't believe that, although Peterborough did waste a great deal of time back-passing

I only watched from just before our equaliser. We should have won that game.

The problem is that both kelman and Agyei are working their socks off closing down and tackling back and that will take their toll on them. We have an abundance of midfield players but no strikers unless you include Perkins . I dont because I think on the evidence thus far pegrum is a better option. A very entertaining game tonight and decent football by both sides. We edged it and deserved 3 points.

In the end yes..With better awareness up front we could have Perhaps a little more composure and chances would have been on target. Never felt like we only had 36% possession but Posh do dick about at the back, sometimes dangerously. Yet when they want, had pace to spare up front. We edged it on chances and another time could have won, but I don’t feel like we were unlucky, never tested the keeper near enough. But neither did they. A draw on balance is a reasonable result.

Would probably have settled for a draw before kick off, but with the way we played it feels like 2pts dropped. We harried and closed down their back line all night and were only undone by the pace they have up front , but even then for their first we had chances to stop their breakaway. As Ferguson said, he thought they were ‘fortunate’ last night, just about sums it up.

Bloody fantastic effort last night 😎.The way the first half ended I though oh oh we’re going to get a pasting..Couldn’t be further from the truth 🙂….Funny how when we play well against the “big boys” and we get a result,it’s never “Orient played really well, and we were lucky” it’s nearly always” that’s the worst we’ve played this season” 😁.

5 points off of 5th place. Who would have thought that after 4 games played.

Bloody fantastic effort last night 😎.The way the first half ended I though oh oh we’re going to get a pasting..Couldn’t be further from the truth 🙂 The fact that we got back on terms early on in the 2nd half contributed to that , having to push forward searching for an equaliser might have cost us given the pace Posh had on the break. As you say, bags of effort last night - most notably from Kelman, Agyei & O’Neil who pressed very hard, but few clear cut chances created.

I only caught the 2nd half, but from what I saw I thought we were largely excellent. Lots of energy, quick play, hassling posh into mistakes. All very good. Downside is I don’t think I saw their keeper make a save. I think the goal was our only shot on target that half that I can recall.

Good to see Graham back on the pitch.
