Have I missed something here? Is he injured? He seems to have disappeared off the radar completely?

Hopefully he's addressing the slow and unfit aspects of his game.

If DJ ever gets to a state where he can play, he has shown glimpses of the talent he has.

Hopefully he's addressing the slow and unfit aspects of his game. On 20 June 2018, Jaiyesimi agreed to join League Two side Yeovil Town on loan until the end of the 2018–19 season.[12] In October 2018, Jaiyesimi was ruled out for the remainder of the 2018–19 season with a serious knee injury,[13] and returned to his parent club during the January transfer window.[14]

Consensus on the Charlton forums was one of surprise we picked him up and they thought we had more ambition. They didn’t rate him at all bar one match. He ain’t looked fit stamina wise

Been round the block, plenty of league 1 experience. Never really saw him as a full back, just a midfielder. No nonsense get on with it type. A Pratley type but younger. DJ has shown glimpses of his undoubted ability. But we shift an apparently unfit Moncur, who has played loads of minutes at Southend at partly our cost, for an apparently unfit DJ who just doesn’t play at all! Good sense? Answers on a postcard.

I like everyone else acknowledge RW ability
He proved it with Swindon and Leyton.
No one can get two teams promoted like he has done in that short space of time.
It’s obvious he must know what he is doing
However I ageee with Donut above about Moncur Thor said the same as me a month ago - we should have built a team around Moncur.
He was worth having around because he has a 100% record on penalties alone which is an achievement.
Where I differ from RW is I would not have all this intensity focus which basically needs two people for each position and burns players out
I would of played two proper wingers as traditional wingers -as orient pitch is wider than most and have two strikers with one that can head and one fast one
Agyei has tremendous strength and ability and for the life of me cannot fathom why he can’t just play to the style he was at crewe whatever that was and RW now play tactics that suit the better players - Agei : Gailbrath : James : Clair - and when the two wingers are fit - please play tactics to suit the strength of our players they are as skilful as opposition players but maybe not suited to be burnt out or what RW says “leggy”

I’ve seen nothing of him to convince me he’s a starter Seems RW’s thinking is along similar lines. Despite his poor form over the last few years, Richie seemed to think he was a good player when he praised him up when he signed for the Os.

Jaiyesimi, now you don't. Charlton fans did warn he's unfit and doesn't train well. But RW said he was great when he saw him play! Clare is very useful I believe he can even play as a striker Try him there v col utd?
