If things continue this way it is more likely to be Travis pulling the trigger not Wellens!
Ironically the international break we were all moaning about might be a stroke of good luck. Maybe RW can take a cold , hard look at the players he has at his disposal, recognise that we are in a battle to stay clear of the bottom four and devise a way of grinding out a few points that keeps our head above water until January. At that point we’ll really see the extent of the Board’s ambition.

The number of times you see players looking to the sideline for instruction during our games is off the scale. There seems to be very little room for innovation unless it comes from the dugout and no room at all for improvisation. Still time now to batten down the hatches and make sure we gain points from the next couple of games. Northampton away on the 19th is definitely a “ must not lose “ scenario. |

Based on our results (not performances) I'm not sure so he is currently top of clubs wanted lists. I'm happy he is ours but results need to happen before he'll be head hunted. |

You do doh …..and you know it!👍😀 Too much! I know (and feel) that. You’ll all have to excuse me whilst I have my hissy fit, toys out of the pram moment. We could and should be so much better than that! Whilst we continue this “we were unlucky, should have won” crap nothing will change. We are not unlucky we are not just good enough. We have the ability to be so much better. Until delusion is binned and reality accepted we will not improve. |

Can be pretty, nice to watch at times, that’s us, but that is just not enough. It’s a results business, we seem to forget that. That’s it, no more and no less. Any football that fails to provide the opportunity to win is not and never will be what it’s all about. We could play like Real Madrid but if that culminates in next to no shots on target, it’s just delusional. Pointless in every sense of the word. Our creativity levels are poor. Our execution in the final third atrocious. The rest is window dressing, good window dressing perhaps, but window dressing. We got a lesson today from a team who cared little about window dressing, just the win. Same as Exeter. We talk of good football, they talk of points on the board. I know what I prefer. We can continue with this delusion all the way to relegation or wake up to the simple fact that our current system is producing precious few good chances to score. You describe that as good football. I don’t. |

He has been let down in my opinion by Ling and by the board by giving him substandard players to work with. We all know which players they are. He’s being asked to polish a turd. |

I think ling & RW are poles apart with their methods.
Both are too proud to admit they are wrong.
Over doing the touchline instructing.
Inflexible playing style.
And Ling appears deliberately slow with everything he does.This riles RW.
