It’s not just true in baseball, it’s true in all sport. How do lower budget teams compete, and how would you convince the “more wealthy” to act in the best interest of football itself if it could harm their interests? I don’t know the answer but it’s frustrating NT and many other smart people have discussed wage caps for their leagues. Not a new set of questions I know, but we’ve discussed the pros and cons of the Moneyball idea before, and I saw the headline and thought some others may be interested in this managers view of the concept and the film.
