Anybody like these?I don't,just means the loss of fixtures for the week-end and postponed games played on a Tuesday evening unless both teams are knocked out of the FA cup in round 1.

Clubs should be compensated for loss of income due to lower Tuesday night attendances

Gives me a chance to see my local sides play. And a stress free Saturday night.

Marshall Taylor said there are 4 international Saturdays, 3 of which coincide with our home games. That's going to cost.

Why are matches postponed?
Yes, a few players from a number of sides are on International duty, but on other occasions a club has even more players injured and unable to play, but games go on.
Some teams, more than likely the "bigger" clubs will have more players away on International duty than others, but that's the price of success. I also suspect that if games were not so easily postponed some clubs would stop players going off to just sit on a bench at an under-21 game.
This needs to be looked at as it is impacting far too much on fans as well as clubs like Orient.

And you just know if Orient hit some form the next team will postpone the game for International callups especially if their best player is out injured

International breaks I assume haven’t come along as a surprise. £180k is a big deal. Brings home the risks associated with a drop in attendance overall.

The fixtures which are mentioned belong to UEFA, the competition is the national league which I believe is a farce of a competition and one which needs removing from the calendar. So UEFA are responsible, and the leagues under that umbrella have to arrange fixtures around it.

Totally agree, always seem to be played as if the matches were friendlies.Saturday is for League 1 football not Tuesday nights.
