Just to cheer you all up, Joe Pigott came on as a sub for Wimbledon. In the last 15 minutes, including overtime, he enjoyed multiple chances including a couple of blocked shots, a couple of saved shots, one narrowly wide and the winning goal. And I dare say we are paying some of his wages. Still, we have Perkins. Good business that as Pigott doesn’t fit our style of play. Oh well. We know best. Most on this forum slaughtered Pigott dohnut.I was among those that forecast he would get double figure goals this season.The point raised is,would you have liked him with us this season. |
