No season card this year. Last season travel a real pain in the A5se
Off to see Eastleigh vs Southend and hope to see Moncs and Bonne. Bloody train delays. Spent 45 minutes on cold platforms and may just make kickoff. All for a cup game. Rain too. Mrs doh thinks I’m nuts. She is right
If I miss the 17:33 return it’s a bus replacement service for part of the trip home. 30 minutes walk ground to station so hope the game finishes on time

Bonne. Poor to average. Moncur decent enough when he came on but hard to shine in a game like that.
Still a goal but it took 92 minutes.

Hope you had a good time either way! I'm wondering if I should stay nearer to home and see them lot on the FA cup weekend. Not sure I fancy seeing a 1-0 loss to Boreham Wood, although not sure I want to see another Charlton win this year either  |

Lower levels of football don’t have to mean boring. Some real entertaining stuff in the Wessex league even though the skills are lacking. But these guys are professionals yet some on the passing was unbelievably crap, repeatedly. At times like schoolboy stuff with so many players chasing the same ball. Jeez it was bad. But some of those defenders seemed to have more muscles than brain cells. Ok every now and then but regular watching. Not for me. But the half time coffee and chips were cheap and decent. |
