I notice today in the 7 matches there were 6 away wins and 1 draw
Maybe lofc current home form is not isolated
Maybe one of lofc staff should review each of these matches and see if there is any pattern similar to lofc style at home / individual mistakes that could be used to influence a change of lofc personnel or style
Example; Maybe the lofc analytics team will prove to RW that the current demand of passing around at the back in their own half endlessly and demanding a high ball retention is not a KPI that has any worth to win a match
Alternatively they may establish a high proportion of committing fouls to stop “a soft underbelly “ as per RW recent post match interview is correct or it’s not correct
Maybe each losing team had an under performing player in a position that was consistent with lofc
There are many data comparisons that may provoke RW to change his philosophy on football to enable lofc to win more home matches
I am not criticising RW who I believe will achieve results to represent his passion and the general ability of the team.
Personally I prefer two wingers traditionally used ie byline and cross with two central attackers.
Cutting out a goalkeeper passing out to defenders in our own box which then creates us under pressure needlessly as they are hemmed in and create even more problems passing across in our defence zones so many times under pressure.
Post Review Comment
Every match had the losing home team with a higher passing % than the away team.!

I’m just happy to wake up on a Sunday morning knowing we didn’t have a poor result yesterday, home or away.. Don’t happen much these days so I’m going to enjoy it for a whole week.
possession stats interesting yet not surprising.

Simply we are lower than we should be because of the critical mistakes during some of the first four games and a post and a bar x 2 times in other matches - we have definitely been really unlucky
We are as good as most of the teams and had we been mid table now I would of not looked at the L2 results and noticed the % retention fact.

Good work eca "The School Boy Embleflop" was responsible for the endless passing around in trying to fool us he was a "Genius" master tactician. Another of Lings cunning plans

Some of our current football in patches is very attractive in triangles and that may produce a goal or a shot
However I remember Rochdale under their proven experienced manager Hill who were relegated but they played attractive football
If is all subjective remember the great Liverpool and Man United Teams a few decades ago when they had wingers like - Hill - Heighway -Coppell and many more
Even Orient we have had great wingers - Alan Comfort - Lee Harvey - Laurie Cunningham - and more
That was good for supporters watching wingers flying down the wing and crossing the ball

As we know by our own results, home games are not the advantage they once were.Been that way for quite a few seasons.

The joy of my life was to see the great Micky Bullock head the ball into the goal from a wingers cross. Oh for those days Won’t see that with England in Finland. Tedious, boring, negative. No doubt about the skills but the style puts you to sleep. Walking football at times. Then Bellingham gets a tap on shin pads and goes down like a sack of potatoes. Still, great goal from the free kick.

Bullock signed for 10k from Oxford - legs like tree trunks.
I wonder what his transfer fee would be today.
Good player

The joy of my life was to see the great Micky Bullock head the ball into the goal from a wingers cross. Oh for those days Indeed;I used to watch a lot of midweek league games and London Senior cup games at Brisbane Road and sometimes saw Micky Bullock in the players entrance suited and booted.
