Spot on! Fans will turn out to watch a winning team - they are much less willing to do so when teams have a home record like ours . then they are not real fans. Thor, you are frequently on this forum complaining that you are unable to get to games or only able to watch a portion of them because of numerous other commitments you advise us about. Perhaps before commenting about others you might be advised to consider your own actions? I suspect that - not for the first time- this is an attempt to belittle those who may hold different opinions to you on the O’s current direction of travel and football matters in general but it’s rather childish imho. 👍

Not at all. The point was people not going due to poor performances and or results. Mine is due to coaching, not because anything else. I'd be at every home game otherwise, along with many away trips too. Some can't make it through work and that's fine, but don't turn up when it's good and disappear when it's bad, that's not a real fan. I'm actually gutted these games are getting moved, but as I coach kids I can't let them down.
I support the team through thick or thin.

I’ve seen my share that’s for damn sure. But results and performances right now don’t encourage me to go. By your definition I’m not a supporter. Really! Supporters are people, people have emotions. People at times get hacked off. Don’t make them all of a sudden not supporters. Makes them human. Trying to suggest people are not real supporters because they miss games is not right.

That's fine, I'm sure we will all get to that point at some stage in our life. I've not questioned your supporting credentials as you've told us many times how long you've been going, you've done your stint, no one can complain about that! My point is aimed at Johnny come lately, who have seen a decent last 6/7 years. Now the team are struggling have vanished, that's not supporting the team, that's glory hunting. Next season if it carries on like this, it would be cheaper and easier to not buy a season ticket for me, but I will buy one and my kids can take a mate with them, but more importantly, I've got my seat for the following season when we are back in the championship!

Sorry Thor what I was trying to say was I still planned to see a few games but haven't down to form. Nor do I plan any in the near future unless home form improves. my longest run of non-attendance for some considerable time. I love watching live but right now I cannot fire up the enthusiasm. Many I’m sure feel as I do.

I've even taken to doing chores during games. I listen to Dave and Matt but only look up at the TV if something good happens.
I haven't been looking at it much lately.

For me it’s also a pilgrimage of sorts. My dad took me to my first game when I was five and we attended games together for over 50 years. He has a plaque on the memorial wall and despite what goes on on the pitch, it’s a time for me to savour those great memories of those times together.

Always muster the full spirit of being an Orient supporter on matchday.I love going to the O's as I know my days are numbered.Tuesday nights are a bit dodgy, but still make the effort.
