Pratley was immense today and the fact we won with him playing does not surprise me, the geezer is unreal. The 4-2-3-1 suits O Neil who probably had his best game of the season today, funny that. Currie has to be signed the geezer is absolutely quality, hopefully we can afford to buy him of course! Ethan was unplayable at times and the trio of him, Currie and O’Neil ripped up that left side especially in the first half, it was good to see. Three goals from crosses from the left wing was good to see as well.
Dan A as a centre forward shows why he should have been there all the time, thankfully Kelman was off the pitch so RW can see the worth of him without kelman getting in the way. Pleased that he scored when he came on as that will do his confidence good.
Good day today and the pale ale in the supporters club afterwards certainly tasted very nice.

Oh and if anyone wants to say there’s a problem in the dressing room or with Richie and the players today shows that not to be the case.

Oh and if anyone wants to say there’s a problem in the dressing room or with Richie and the players today shows that not to be the case. It certainly looked coherent out there. I liked the way all the players celebrated on their little patch when we scored the goals. I also liked how Kelman, who could have been peeed off for being on the bench, was keen to thank keen Agyei for the assist for his goal. The crowd sounded awesome too.

Hard to believe he is 39. Currie is a fine player, hope we keep him and he brings out the best in O’Neil who is getting back to his best. Dan A, what can we say. Awesome today. Galbraith is just class. Keeley gives the defence confidence, I love the way he bosses the box. Warrington too, nothing spectacular but decent enough. Pleased for Kelman and Perkins. Let’s hope their confidence is on the up. In general I liked the way we played today. Definite step in the right direction. But can we refine our set play balls in the box.

Oh and if anyone wants to say there’s a problem in the dressing room or with Richie and the players today shows that not to be the case. Had Blackpool taken one of their chances early second half I wonder what our reaction would have been. But they didn’t and we deserved our good fortune today, not had too much, so let’s just enjoy it.

I’m baffled by Dan Agyei. I really thought that coming in from out wide with Kelman in the middle would have suited him. However, all the evidence would suggest that isn’t the case and he’s a much better player though the middle. Which doesn’t leave much room for Kelman, who genuinely is better down the middle. Other than as Dan’s understudy. But I guess there’s worse players to have as backup/2nd half replacements.

Oreo makes a good point about the fans, everyone got behind the players today from the get go. Maybe everyone read Richie's column in the program as he highlighted games where fans made a big difference. Today we got behind them to good effect.
Dohnut speaks about poor set plays and I'd agree with him. For someone of TJ's quality to deliver poor ball after poor ball at set plays was annoying. These are free hits where a good delivery can cause mayhem and get us hopefully an easy goal. More work required on the training ground.

Forde / Drinan both moved out wide to suit the system and other personnel I am sure Kelman can do the same adapt easily to suit the team

I doubt supporters go with the intention of not getting behind the team. 60% possession, backways, sideways negative football don’t get people buzzing. it’s boring as hell. I don’t confuse possession, bossing the ball, with players having a go. Supporters should cheer boring football? Shout players names? Ain’t going to happen. Mansfield were largely outclassed by Birmingham but boy did they try. Even winning praise from Brummy fans. Not hard to work out what to do to get fans buzzing. Not talk from the manager or notes in a programme but action on the pitch.
None of us expect to win every game, score loads of goals, create endless chances, play top quality football. But we all love to see a team having a go, winning or losing. Today Blackpool bossed the ball, we bossed the game. The crowds responded from the off. Cause and effect.
The message is clear. Less talk, more positive action. The team drive the response they get. And fans want to cheer etc.

Well that was much better, wasn't it. We had a little bit of the rub of the green, but that hasn't been happening much lately either. There was energy and we were getting players in the box.
Slight quibble that it was the same goal three times. But just what the players and supporters needed.
Worth reflecting that we are 12th based on form over the last 10 games.

Why has it taken this long for Richie to realise that playing Dan A as centre forward ( rather than Kelman ) was the right way to go, we fans have been calling for this for many weeks now. Darren Pratley what a player and what a leader !

Agyei was immense and led the forward line so well,But praise to all for such a great team effort,we knew it was there and it showed that with a bit of luck which we have not had all season we would be in a much better position.Special praise to Darren Prately,we certainly look stronger when he plays, when Clare returns he will take that spot very well.Same with Theo, hope he can get back in full fitness and stay with the O's to become inspirational as Darren.

You are a tough man to please. It is what you get when you have been a boss, not easy when, you have to call out mistakes to those you consider workmates and friends, dohnut just speaks aloud. Mrs redshank is the same when I am decorating.

I was listening to some Blackpool fans on the way home and they were full of praise for the Orient saying in effect how we outplayed them in every department and team spirit.

You are a tough man to please. Not really. Enjoyed the Blackpool game and a few of our guys put in very good performances. I was very quick with my praise. I don't expect us to win every game. But we are consistently playing well below our capabilities, I get frustrated. We’ve been OK in patches, that’s it. I hate excuses. Having a pop at fans as contributing to poor performances is just not on. The supporters are definitely not the problem. The team drive the crowd reaction. Bore them to death and you know the reaction. Didn’t like Richie’s comments regarding BW either. Bad form.
