This 'full and frank' discussion the owners had with Slade I hope it involved telling him not to play Mooney every game. (I know he won the penalty but by all accounts he was useless otherwise).

Staying for now according to Twitter: I think Mooney will come back a better player but the rest of the team have to start giving better service than he has had up till now (and the same applies to Henderson).Once he strikes up a decent partnership with a midfielder than can slot a few balls through to him the goals will come and so will his confidence. It's a pity a few of the newbies don't get much better!

To get back on topic....
He used to be Shiite, but now's he alright ?
He hit a purple patch last season.
Personally, I don't think this will be repeated. With Slades trust in him,
I'd love to be proved wrong.

Last season the mooney and lisbie show gave plenty of goals .that won't be the case this season .i think it will be the dagnall and henderson show this year . |

Although Mooney is certainly a cult hero now given at least where I sit in the South Stand where even his most comical dive or mis control is greeted with cheers of Moooney, Moooney  |

Jean Pierre Papin was a French footballer.
He played for Marseille, AC Milan and Bayern Munich amongst others.
He has managed in France not sure what he's up to now.

So be it - that is splitting hairs as is the comment about membership - I do not want to go where I am unwelcome and will give no more references to this 'message board' in the Fantastico Os Facebook group - which has a fourteen year searchable archive with comments and information about much of LOFCs recent history. Meanwhile I see Os are 0-1 up at Scunthorpe and Slade is one of several people under consideration for the Cardiff job - and his wife turned up at Scunthorpe and met the team coach |
