I think overall he's in the minority, but there are people like myself who whilst not totally convinced that he is capable of taking the club further (playing Mooney in midfield doesn't help), he's shown in the past that he's capable of turning a poor performing team into almost world beaters. For me I think it's only a matter of time before Slade is sacked as Hearn tried to break the mould with sticking by his manager and whilst Slade deserves a chance to turn draws into wins, it would seem that Becchetti doesn't have as much patience as Hearn.

For me I think it's only a matter of time before Slade is sacked as Hearn tried to break the mould with sticking by his manager and whilst Slade deserves a chance to turn draws into wins, it would seem that Becchetti doesn't have as much patience as Hearn. i think it is only a Matter of time before the axe falls on slade .i said to an os fan last night francesco is putting a lot of money into the os he wants results .results are not happening you get fired .i think slade has taken the os as far he can .sooner or later it will be a new man at the helm .yesterday 3 managers lost there jobs .football is a results business .the league table doesn't lie .slade has been a great manager for the os .but all good things must come to an end .and the end is coming for slade .the result he got the other night he got at notts county was a stay of excution .sooner or later the axe will fall .

Stay level headed here! It's still early in the season! Maybe these thoughts would be justified in November, let's give him some time.

Personally I think Slade has taken the club as far as he can. People get all sentimental over him but if the new manager came in and got promotion they would all be happy (except LexiO it seems)

People get all sentimental over him but if the new manager came in and got promotion they would all be happy (except LexiO it seems) I agree with you Kbola 100%.slade has been good for us he took us to the brink of promotion .but we fell at the final hurdle.if you look At slades previous clubs he has always got close but no one has been promoted under him .its a case of aways the bridesmaid and never the bride .sooner or later he will go .and if the new man gets us promoted .then slade will all be forgotten about .i think it's time for Mr slade to move on .thanks for all you have done .we are going in a new direction .
