Apologies now for miss-spelling the names.. Reading on here and also on the Dark Side there seem to be patterns emerging, one puts Slade as the schemer, the other has never trusted Bechetti. We we were told quite early on that MM would be responsible for communicating on Bechetti's behalf and presumably the "ultimatum" was delivered that way. It has been assumed that Bechetti's sentiments were faithfully conveyed but, as with all message chains there is the possibility of it not quite getting there as intended. Could MM have overegged it? Could that be a factor in the ultimatum being withdrawn? Are the fingers being pointed at the wrong people? Who stands to gain? We'll never know of course until memoirs time but like I say...a few more thoughts in the mix.

I think francesco being new to the game of football and being chairman overreacted when we lost too colchester .when he saw the level feeling for slade from the supporters .and probably consulted Barry Hearn on the matter .realised he had acted hastily and had a change of heart.since then we have gained 4 points from the last two games .there have been discussions between slade and the chairman .and he said that slade is the man too take the club forward .then along come cardiff with an owner loves sacking managers at the speed of sound .and says I want permission to talk to Mr slade .francesco says no .vincent tan has too look else were for a new manager to hire and fire .no hidden agenda .i think francesco acted hastily and saw the error of his ways and decided slade was the man to take the club forward .i don't think we need to call special branch to investigate .end of subject .

It's all a conspiracy I tell you dreamed up by Bechetti and Tan somewhere in a hidden volcano lair.
