Can't see Slade coming in for many of our lot - possibly Cox, I suppose.
Nugent will likely be out on his ear.
It will actually be interesting to see how Slade fares. Can he break the mould and achieve success, which by Cardiff's standards will mean lasting, what, more than say a year? On the face of it you wouldn't think so, particularly seeing as how he is a notoriously slow starter. On the other hand he'll have some decent players to work with who have just come down from the Prem, and according to Slade 90% of the job is about man-management. So maybe he will surprise us?

So with Slade gone how many players do you think will follow suit i think Cox Clarke Vincelot and Elliot will leave as soon as they can I don't think any will leave .and I don't think slade will be at Cardiff for very long .i give him 6 months before tan swings the axe .bigger names such as Malay Mackey and solskar have gone in a flash .i think slade has made a decision he will live to regret .vincent tan likes to hire and fire .slade is the latest to be hired and then fired . |

According to BBC Wales it is a possibility that Nugent will follow Slade to Cardiff. Although this appears to be based on the fact that Nugent used to play for Cardiff!
Further they, Cardiff, have told Young he will have a place at the club when a new manager comes in, he was in charge of guided stadium tours until Solskjaer left. Further they still seem to think that Glenn Roeder will have a place there as well. Upshot being we have been dragged into the circus that currently surrounds Cardiff and our board are not doing themselves any favours either in the eyes of the media or us fans. Still am amazed how much coverage the O's are getting in the Welsh press. My mates down here at last realise that my club is an actual football team.

Only 10 days ago these players were busting a gut to get a result at Notts County so Russ would keep his job only to find that 72 hours later he's asking permission to speak to Cardiff.
Would you follow a boss who did that?

Agreed medwayo, no-one is leaving. I am sure the players are eagerly anticipating who the new manager will be and how the club will move forward without moneybags Slade. (ps, the players should be busting a gut to win in EVERY match regardless of the manager in my opinion)  |

(ps, the players should be busting a gut to win in EVERY match regardless of the manager in my opinion) Here here well said Kbola .some of the players are earning between 10 and 12 grand a week .they should be giving 2 pints of sweat every game .no because Russell got an ultimatum.when the new man comes Iam sure they will respond in the right manner .just because slade has gone to cardiff .that all the players will follow .the only one who might leave could be cox .but apart from that .no ones going nowhere . |
