I've been to Albania, no-one was mentioning Orient that I noticed.

Not sure what the new owners are thinking about. Why on earth ask someone who only has the best interests of the club at heart to resign from the board, at a time when you'd think that they would wish to keep the fans, players and everyone connected with the club on-side. Seems a bizarre move to me. Firstly I think that losing Matt is a real shame 100% committed to the O's as fan and CEO a nicer bloke you would never meet. However Matt publicly (through twitter) voiced his support for Russell Slade last week along with Barry Hearn and so I guess that has caused FB to react in this way, he was only on the board as an interim measure to allow a smooth progression during the aftermath of the take over so I guess it's sooner rather than later but that's a lot of knowledge and experience walking out the door and morale within the staff I am led to believe is at rock bottom so not good.
The last few weeks have been an utter farce really the club have had a number of lows during my lifetime but always you felt everyone was pulling in the same direction......until now. FB and his merry men seem to be on a mission to destabilise and deconstruct our club.
IMHO Fans are not going to put up with this for long before they vote with their feet a real shame after the feel good factor of last season.
Harry if Matt was tweeting in favour of Slade, then that left FB no choice but to ask him to stand down. As a board of directors you can have your private disagreements and discuss those around the table, but for Matt to tweet support for Russ when the board is in dispute with him, was stupid if he wanted to stay on and be part of the clubs future. It's easy to criticise the new ownership, but with the manager and now the previous ownership washing their dirty laundry in public, events have been forced upon FB. I'm beginning to think that by not running off to the press and putting their side of the story, they are acting in a much more professional way than those on the other side of this sorry mess.
