You really think Becchetti would sack Milanese after a Month if the results where poor? Not a chance A month or so...If we keep losing at home consistently I don't see how he could stay in the Manager's role after Slade was given even less time. I would hope in the meantime that IF there must be a Sporting Director, then another bod is hired so that when/if MM does bomb, then he can't even think about swallowing his self-respect and step back into his previous role. He may end up being a good manager - but as far as I'm concerned even if he could take us up to the Premiership and fill the trophy cabinet with more silver than Judas, my opinion of him has been set after the last few weeks. I'll always support the team, but I wouldn't cross the road to pee on the manager if he was blazing on fire. |

Well, let's hope that by that time (if it happens) there's a new SD in place...either that or Francesco Becchetti will drop the hammer himself. Someone said that Serse Cosmi was being courted for the SD position the other day, but looking at his hunger for self-promotion, I think he's more likely to be involved with the documentary/talent show that Becchetti's got planned.
