I'm a fan of RE and I do like the way he talks to Dulcet about "us" and "we" but in this interview he turned a little by saying "my message to the lads" and "I'm not willing to accept that". I have no argument about the sentiment but I feel it is a mistake to allow any hint of "me" and "them" to be said in public. It comes across as "we played badly but don't look at me!". No doubt behind closed doors there needs to be words of one syllable but not to the press. His own players will turn against him if he does that.

I listened to an earlier post match interview by mistake. Didn’t realise for quite a while. 😂

Yes quite correct it could become a Habit and you end up riding and attending Vespers.

You’re assuming the players are fully on board with his ideas and systems and respect his ability as Head Coach. One or two comments that have crept out suggests to me it’s still work in progress. To be fair his transition from mate to boss is a hard one.
