Jo Kendall, comedy actress aged 83. She was best known as a regular on the classic radio show ‘I’m sorry I’ll read that again’. That show is still repeated on Radio 4 extra but some of the episodes have fallen foul of the censor these days.  |

I remember the obligatary gonk.But for sartorial elegance you could not beat the lecturers on the Open University when it was on every afternoon.Even the residents of the elderly peoples homes would all watch it.

What elderly peoples home was it?
On day work we used to pick them up regularly to take them to their day centre. We used to have a right laugh with some of them.

Anna Karen who played Olive from on the buses passed away aged 85 from a house fire. She was also in Eastenders as Aunt Sal. A terrible way to go.
