Still remember the goal that Big Joe scored at White Hart Lane back in 1978 - bullet header from about ten yards out following a pinpoint cross from the right, at the Park Lane end...we clung on tenaciously until the final whistle for a well
deserved draw. Happy days!

Wonderful bit of nostalgia, many thanks. I was also at this fixture, at the Windsor Road end, accompanied by the young lady who would later become my first wife. Audrey was a Spurs supporter and was in the same secondary school class as Danny Blanchflower's daughter whom she described as being rather aloof and superior of manner!

A father and son on a sidecar event in a TT race.How awfully sad. That’s five deaths this week at the TT races. If there’s a horse killed at the Grand National there’s a national outcry but this event is allowed to carry on regardless. Very odd. |

Mayo and Kitchen - they were a really good partnership and just maybe we may get Smith and Ruel this season doing a similar thing.
