Happy 83rd birthday to John Cleese. Comedy legend for when sitcoms were actually funny.

We're crying out for new proper funny, anti PC, anti Woke sitcoms. Red Dwarf keeps the candle burning.

If the BBC has anything to do with it I suggest it would be sanitised out of existence. I don't think you're right, I know you're right. I've mainly liked the beeb for the many great sitcoms they've done in the past and of course no adverts which is great unless you need a jimmy and haven't got a pause facility. I also like their extensive sports websites that are my go-to ones. Not too bothered about the licence fee, I'd rather that than the 5-6+ min adverts on most of the other channels. Although occasionally good for a quick cuppa and a sarnie I suppose. I remember hearing as a kid that my parents mainly stopped watching the beeb when ITV came along, they called it Commercial, or Our channel. Defo my channel, Thunderbirds! I loved Radio One in the 70's but banning 'My Ding-A-Ling' and one or two others started my hate for them. Me and a mate sat on the steps for half a day once at Portland Place hoping to see Johnnie Walker. Never did. So mixed feelings about the beeb. The best broadcasting company in the world, but they do have some woke twats in charge.

Even more special considering the quagmire of a pitch Wet mud and lots of it is a great leveller, remember Colchester beating a full strength Leeds side back in the 70's? Similar pitch state. He'll have plenty of mates on the other side. One of the best, I need not say anymore. Well, one more.
