Sergio Mendes, Grammy winning Brazilian jazz and bossa nova supremo has died aged 83. Brazil '66 His band had numerous iterations. I particularly liked his rendition of “ Fool on the hill” by Lennon & McCartney, with Lani Hall on vocals.

Happy 81st birthday to former O’s boss Frank Clark who managed the team between 1983 and 1991 and had a two year stint as Managing Director from ‘91 to ‘93.
