Very sad news concerning the circumstances surrounding the death of ex O’s centre forward Colin Flatt who passed away aged 81. I can recall him scoring a brace for us on a muddy Brisbane Rd pitch in a 2-1 win and the newspaper report headline next morning being “Orient Flatten ‘ Em”. I just read the article above and it just makes me livid when parties release generic comments as stated
In Essex they closed or radically reduced the size of Goodmays and Brentwood mental hospitals and built for profit other buildings
Everyone was saying at the time the progressive reduction in services will not be a good outcome

Colin Flatt only one season 65-66 but decent 1 in 4 goal ratio having jumped from non league to orient tier 2.
Released from a mental health unit without adequate support.
Yes too many such units closed for housebuilding orojects

David Graham passes away aged 99 which is a grand old age.
David was best known as a voice actor, his voice was a Dalek, most of the thunderbirds characters, Grandpa Pig in pepper pig among many others.

Not the most gifted but what an impact..Bye Toto RIP He only played for Serie A Juventus and the Italian National Team so I suppose he wasn't the most gifted. I'm being sarcastic. My most favourite World Cup was Italia 90 and he shone in it. I remember him well. Riposa in Pace. |

Many happy 71st birthday to O’s great Tommy Taylor. Not many have given greater service to the O’s than Tom in his two spells as a player and tenure as manager from 1996 to 2001.🎂  |

The voice of snooker Clive Everton has passed away aged 87.
His is the voice I always associate with the game and like Peter Allis with golf they are the game on TV.
