Far from over but that result I really think hammers another nail in Southend and Grimsby's coffin.
Come on Shrimpers. Get yourself out of it.

Pretty much sums this season up. If only we could have put ourselves in with a shout.

What a start...if you're going to completely f#!$ up, best to do it inside 2 minutes I guess.
Barrow scored after two minutes and that was it... It was all Cheltenham last night…

well done barrow
anyone remember a game (huddersfield away I think) under geriant williams boyd scored after 1 minute spent the rest of the game defending
nobody cared it was all the home side and we did nothing else just what a good defensive performance it was
could be exciting at the bottom if southend win or get 4 points from their next two games as they play teams around them drags a lot of teams into it then
think we will be too far away to be bothered but with 2 tough games coming up the table is not going to be pretty if we lose both

This isn't over yet.We are in very poor form and scraping points. All teams below us got points last night with Port Vale winning as well

4 goals in last 11 games-3 from defenders and the other from a winger/midfielder. We have 3 strikers available plus maybe Sotiriou to come back. Other than the 4-0 drubbing we have let in 9 goals in 10 games which isn't disastrous. With 12 games to go you would think 2 wins would be easy to achieve, but not with that record, although we have amassed 8 points in that run, so really nothing to worry about

Only lost 3 of our last 8 games. Winning 1. pee poor football but still picking up points. Relegation is not an issue.

I hope you are right because I don't feel that at the moment. I've not seen anything to encourage me otherwise

Anyone talking relegation for Orient this season needs to give their head a wobble
Orient at in 14th place so would need 9 of the 10 teams below them to overtake Orient. That alone won't happen. Some of the sides may overhul Orient, but not all 9 sides. Rember these sides are at the ottom because they are poor sides, not promotion challengers.
2nd bottom Southend are 14 points behind Orient and only have 11 games left, so even if Orient did not gain another point, Southend would need a minimum of 14 points to catch Orient at an average of 1.2727 points per game. given that so far they have got 30 points from 35 games at an average of 0.8571 points per game. It isn't going to happen.
Even if Southend did miraculously perform so well, all the other 8 teams would have to overhaul the gap between them and Orient

Lovely, worrying about relegation makes me feel my Orient years have not been wasted.Australia have the Ashes,Orient battling relegation,Petersoflas talking of satan.Seems normal to me.

I've seen a few teams nosedive from a position of safety in my time and the present outfit looks to have all the credentials. As long as it doesn't happen, I don't mind being labelled daft for worrying about it.
