4th best team over the last six games according to Sports Mole amp.sportsmole.co.uk/football/national-league/form-guide.htmlIf you continue that through to the end of the season we’d have 64 points and finish 12th. Dover would be 7th best placed team on 72 points. Big if,but if we could keep up the form of the last 4 games, then we too could get 72 points 😳 Dare to dream?

Hi BB, thanks for the info - very interesting Whether we make 7th or not (& why not?) our transformation under JE is fantastic. Has to be a good omen for next season.

We’ve actually got an awful lot of winnable games from now until the rest of the season. Dover away is on paper probably the hardest? Although, worn down by the past 3 seasons, I’m seeing this as an opportunity to comfortably pull away from relegation and finish mid-table. I’m not daring to dream, Buffalobill! Not this season.....

By the time that JE came in November there would have been only one directive from above - avoid relegation!
The remainder of this season will be about ensuring that target is met. I suppose that we may have a nice day out at Wembley to make up for the misery that we've had this season (and last) but, staying up is a must and the play-offs may be out of reach now.
The close season comings and goings will be very interesting indeed.

Beat Dover, get a winning streak together like we did under Slade and the pressure will be on those above us. We’ve got nothing to lose from now on, as I don’t see us slipping back into the relegation dogfight. 😁

Ok, so the dream is over I admit to over enthusiasm at a few decent results. Still think we will finish mid table though.

Should be able to manage that I think - however any team capable of twice throwing away 3 goal leads in the last 25 minutes , shipping 6 against Bromley and getting stuffed 3-0 by (then) bottom club Torquay leaves cause for concern methinks👍

The close season comings and goings will be very interesting indeed.I agree with staying up being the priority. The situation with comings and goings of players. I wonder if that will be dependent on what contracts players are on costing the club where a player is either injury prone or on a long term injury and who can be shipped out if their contract clauses allow without too high compensation.

Getting out of this league seems more to do with having a weell drilled. organised squads with greast team spirit and strong charcter rather than just good players. The progressive and hard fought 1-0 away wins recently are in JEs favour the 3 goal collapses less so but with a transfer window and full pre season with his own players heres hoping for a short stay
