This cup is a vanity project for Edinburgh, he spoke in the program yesterday about how much he wants to lead a team out at Wembley. Unfortunately, winning this Mickey Mouse Trophy will not be much of an achievement if Orient fail in promotion. It will be. A hollow cup if orient are still stuck in non league fir seasons to come.

Taking your comments above do you agree that this tin pot cup therefore is a poison chalice if won and injuries sustained in the effort which then has a knock on effect on the push for promotion? I also can't see the point of playing the final if we get there at a 1/3 full Wembley if that's the venue with little atmosphere. Better to play at a Premiership or Championship ground IMO.

I say it’s only a poison chalice if it costs promotion due to fatigue, injury or falling behind in the league. luckily the final is after the season ends so if orient are already promoted, great go and win it. but, if orient aren’t up, who is going to care about it?

but, if orient aren’t up, who is going to care about it? Empty Wembley in that scenario.

Personally I think we need to put out our strongest available side this Saturday and go flat out to win the tie and get to Wembley. Winning is a habit, win on Saturday and we stretch the winning run to 7 on the bounce, lose and we're back to square on trying to start another winning streak.

Yes he said he wants to lead orient out at Wembley . Going to be in front of an empty stand if Orient don’t achieve promotion to the promised land of Leagye 2.
