I am a rather armchair Spurs and Orient supporter but with many fond memories of watching the ups and downs of both over many years and drinks in the Birkbeck. This season speaks for itself. My uncle was a regular at Brisbane Road behind the home goal all his life and I got the Os squad to sign a letter of condolence when he passed away a number of years ago, a wonderful gesture. Having followed the Os fantastic recovery under Justin Edinburgh I was utterly incredulous when I stumbled across the Evening Standard announcement by accident last night when a friend was searching for a recent photo of himself as a 'Green Man'.
First and foremost, a tragic loss to Justin's family. The local and wider football family mourn with you. But the memories, hopes and dreams will remain and cannot be taken away.
