The upside is that Nigel Clough has admitted he won't be risking anyone before the fa cup semi final as per bbc sport website. The downside is they are at home to brentford tomorrow night....

I did say at Christmas we were looking unconvincing and sure enough our form and indeed the form of our star players has gone completely down hill.I said at the time we would be lucky to finish in the playoffs.Well now I think I will be happy if we rest players now and be happy to finish 5th just to give our players a chance to get there legs back. I know this is risking bad defeats and any chance of form going into the P/O's butPreston and Rotherham will go flat out from here in the run in and Bees will get dragged into it to.It wouldn't surprise me if Rotherham went up with Wolves as it happens!!! Be ready for a good hiding at Shef U and home to Wolves.

Agreed, the way Rotherham are going I think they will pip Brentford.
As for us risking bad defeats by resting players, we're going to get bad defeats carrying on the way we are anyway so what does it matter if we rest players?
At least it gives the fringe players a chance to get first team action under no pressure and possibly give us more options come the play offs.

Yer, I couldn't agree more.Personally I think this is the end of what has been a terrific season for us,shame O's couldn't have spread the points out a bit more as it's beginning to feel like a game we were in front till the last minute when they score and draw then it feels like a defeat.

Surely Sheffield United still have a chance of making the play offs ? therefore they would put out the best available team against bee's? .

The problem is the only way to get into form is to play yourself into form, our star players ain't going to get into form while keeping the bench warm,I'd rotate a few cause they do seem tired but I wouldn't drop any more, lisbie needs a rest

The mother in law and new car is my gag of the week - quality. I don't feel like as a team we have massively gone off the boil. Our keeper and defence along with cox and odubajo have played well for most of the last 6 weeks. Our problem has been the middle of the park and bigger problem has been our 2 forwards.
Vincelot is back this weekend after a bit of a break I expect him to start with ness or loanee from Everton. Vincelot won't need to play like he is running on eggshells as he was on 9 bookings for weeks. James to get some further rest.
Our forwards at the start of the season were our first line of defence, tracking back, bundles of energy but mooney and Lisbie the last month- 6 weeks look shot. I like dagnall but he is hardly prolific. We need our forwards to get their act together - batt is fit so ideal off the bench he can change a game.
If our forwards start scoring we will have a great chance of going up. we can't keep relying on our defenders to keep clean sheets or only let in 1 goal a game this has been going on for weeks now.

The keeper and back four and wingers pick themselves...Personally I didnt think the young Everton guy looked too great on Saturday, therefre James or Ness with Vincelot for me. Upfront is our issue though..Batt HAS to start if fit I feel, the only remote threat we've had for a while...who with him is the question though. Lis/Moons or Dagnall.

I'd go with the established back four, Cox and Lasimant on the other wing to give Odubajo a rest and Vincelot and Ness in the middle, (give James another rest), then Batt and Mooney (can't drop him or his confidence will go through the floor) up front.

Lasimant is a forward not a winger Slade tried it previously and the poor young lad was out of his depth he ended up been substituted And why can't you drop players proof is in the results Lisbie and Mooney are not scoring of late so surely another combo has to be tried Mooney for me of late has been very pedestrian I don't actually think he deserves his place in the team at the moment Maybe it's time for Slade to stop been loyal to the chosen ones because let's face it as a huge Orient fan the home performances bar Carlisle have been pretty shocking
