The O's midfielder scored 4 against Stevenage,the O's winning 4--2 .He has now got 15 so far this season,not bad for a midfielder. One for the future perhaps. |

I know we've said it before but there could be one or two diamonds in this present bunch,some of whom have already had the rough and tumble of non-league.

More than a few I would say,Grainger Finney Kashkett Uzun to name but a few I just worry that they might have to much pace and Russy Holder sends them all to Welling Utd for a season |

Would be fantastic if one or two of them could follow Moses into the first team. I have my doubts though. It`s a huge step to go from YT football to the professional game.

Despite making a youth cup final 8yrs(?) ago,hardly any of the Jabo team made any significant headway into league football but some of the current crew are already battle hardened with their experiences in lower league but still not many will make it.Mind you you have to applaud Andy Edwards(how long can we keep him).

I am not sure how lower league football is going to improve them. In my book they should be given more chances in our first team. I never understood why we brought in Stockley, Loza and Gilqrist (?), while we had a number of our own younsters on the bench week-in-week out. If they good enough for a contract, we should give them a chance.

Clearly slade doesn't think there good enough yet, there only young so it's better to ease them into professional football instead of throwing them into the deep end, let's not ruin them before they hit there prime. |
