Jury is out for me on his appointment, I’d love him to make a success of the job as Newcastle are my second team as my grandad was a geordie who stood on the terraces supporting them. I just not sure he can cut it at that level and with the money they may throw at the club his previous choices of players who cost a lot was pretty poor. Like I say I’d love him to prove me wrong, it I don’t think he will, he is a seat warmer and if they stay up he will be replaced in the summer with a “name”

I think he has a great chance to get the fans behind him they’re next three games are very winnable the geordies have been crying out for a Kevin keegan type roller coaster and I think he’ll deliver either way I think it’ll be interesting to watch

Both Newcastle and Norwich are in the same boat with only 5 points each, maybe it was just that Newcastle have now got lots of money to spend on new players in January and Norwich haven't.

perhaps they are waiting for El Presidente Stelling to give his blessing on the new manager. I am surprise he hasn't asked one of his sycophants on Sky soccer Saturday to take the reins. They are full of advice sitting in a comfortable studio. Let's see if they can do it for real. D

Villa's loss is Norwich's gain in my view.

I must say i find it all overwhelming. How can the boss's at Villa decide Deano isnt good enough, and yet another set of bosses at another Premier League club, think, he's what they need to keep them up
Its all ammazing stuff
