Team lacks a Stephen Dawson or Romain Vincelot. Someone that not only won't be afraid to intimidate the opposition, but won't be afraid to do the same to his own teammates should they think they can slack off.
Yet again yesterday proved that as soon as we play a physical team, we go into our shell.

I think we need a hard man who will get unnecessary yellows and the occasional red to leave us a man down.

I think we need a hard man who will get unnecessary yellows and the occasional red to leave us a man down. The trick is of course to have strong but fair physical players. Ready to compete in physical battles, which doesn’t mean dirty, without endless yellows or the regular red. Being Hard isn’t necessarily being dirty. The two should not be confused.

At the start of the season we were worried we had too many tough grafters and not enough creative types. I wonder what changed?

And if we get penalties that should not have been then our fair players will inform the ref of such.

The referees. Not many seem to know what is going on.We just need to get used to them being right and wrong at the same time.Very difficult for the refs at the moment.Difficult job at the best of times.
