I think the speedway is on the North Circ each morning.
I am not sure if it is telecast on BT Sports.

The Speedway world cup ceased in 2018 I believe , it was a team competition and was replaced by the Speedway of Nations that is a pairs competition won by Great Britain this year .

We've lost a lot of tracks to what it was a few or more years ago. All the top riders who used to ride in the British League now apply their trade in Poland, where the big money is. Speedway is Poland's top sport with bigger stadiums and regular big crowds. It's the same as what the Premier League is to World football. Britain used to be the go-to country where the top riders from around the world rode from the beginning of time, while also riding in Europe (mainly Sweden, Denmark, and Poland) in between. Tai Woffinden (British and 3 times World Champion) is currently our top rider. GB are the current Speedway of Nations Champions (replacing the Speedway World Cup) Things are changing though. www.eurosport.co.uk/speedway/fim-and-discovery-sports-events-announce-10-year-speedway-vision-from-2022_sto8565242/story.shtml

You beat me to it on a couple of things there, Ron. You snuck in while I was composing. I named one of my cats Bo. The two budgies were named Alex and Mr's Alex, after Hurricane. Cat v one of the budgies didn't end well Not my thought, wife left the door open.

Go Zenon Plech! My favourites were Bengt Jannsson ( banger ) , Bo Peterson , and later Mark Loram 👍👍 First saw Mark as a kid on a small speedway bike going around the wick, my brother said future "World Champion there". It came to pass in 2000.
