Comfort Break has it right. We don't need a new stadium. A few consistent years of relative success like this season, keep on with the free season ticket offers plus attacking football and the crowds will come back. You could have a super stadium like Darlington but cack football will see crowds dwindling. Of course we don't need a super stadium just a decent one!Crowds coming back, what cloud are you on,only when a big club comes to town will A crowd come back.

Look at Brentford. Similar size, their crowds are up about 30-40% on the back of a couple of good seasons of football. Ours would too.

In fact aren't our crowds up this season purely on one decent season?

In fact aren't our crowds up this season purely on one decent season? Come on MungO, surely you would expect our crowds to be up with the amount of success we've had this year, but not as much as I would have hoped.Plus FREE TICKETS and very few of those go,big empty spaces. As the man says you cant give em away! But hey I really don't mind,I like my club nice and peaceful.

I have protested about 2 things in my life my Grans house on Grove Green Rd being demolished for Thatchers ill advised M11 extension which tore a hole through communities both in Leyton and Leytonstone I also protested strongly against the Criminal Justice Act in the 90's and it wasn't because I was a new age traveller or squatter or raver etc etc it was because Thatcher wanted to compress every single person living in the UK and as per usual she got her way The only thing that I would protest against these days is if my beloved Leyton Orient Where moved from Brisbane Rd as city slacker said it's an adequate ground and for me it's always. Been a homely family orientated club it's work in the community is next to none I could go on but I won't Rant over

If we are serious about getting to and staying in the Championship, then we need a stadium that can hold at least 15000, same size as Doncasters.
In the Championship, only Yeovil have a ground as small as us, and whilst Bournemouth (who have a chairman with deep pockets), only have capacity for 12000, I believe they have plans for a new ground.
I'd like to see the east stand redeveloped and if this could be done increasing our capacity and allowing for safe standing at the front, even better IMO. We might also have to buy the properties behind the north stand and increase capacity there as well, to get anywhere near the 15k I want!!
If we had to move and I wouldn't want to if it could be avoided, then Drapers Filed recreation ground would be best bet. Same distance from the tube, bit bigger space and halfway between Stratford and Brisbane Road.

Orient could always ground share with Chelsea. In fact they could play their matches before Chelsea as a kind of warm up act and then a few lucky Orient fans could be allowed to stay and watch Mourinho's maestros in action. (only joking before you all kick off)

Man city fans made me chuckle once when Mourinho used to wear the smart 3 quarter length jacket and they sang to the tune of la donne e mobile "THAT COAT'S FROM MATALAN, THAT COAT'S FRON MATALAN"
