For a start.. does anyone know anybody that has saved a few quid yet?
Hopefully it'll get a few more through the door. I read on the other forum that we've sold nearly 1,700 season-tickets, this seems quite low to me as in the last few years i thought we were selling nearer to 3,000.
Secondly I wonder what the uptake of freebie season-vouchers will be? We've given away 2,000 in the East Stand, even if 25% turn up that could make quite a difference.

You didn't read that. Read it again, we've sold about 3,000 season tickets. 1,700 is just the West Stand.

But doesn't that include the 1,000-odd that can't be sold? Gallery, friends / family, chairmans seat, etc..
Copy and paste it over here.

No, the gallery and balcony aren't that big. The entire stand holds about 2,900 and the Gallery is only about 400 seats. The balcony must be less than 50.
Around 3,000 season tickets have been sold.
1700 in the West Stand (including the gallery) 500 in the South Stand 700 in the North Stand 150 in the East Stand (just the old people)
All estimates.
We always sell around 2,700-3,100 ST's so we're doing alright.

If that's the case we're doing okay then (though i can't believe we've sold 1,700 in the west alone).
So if 80% of ST-Holders turn up, that abouts 2,400.. plus a couple of hundred for the freebie crowd, that'll make it about 2,700-ish.
Plus the walk-up crowd and the aways.
4,500 every game?

The West Stand is always the fullest on matchdays, I don't know why you're suprised we've sold 1,700 in there. Most people like to watch football from the side of the pitch and the facilities are much better than the East Stand.
At the start I reckon more of the freebies will turn up and then the numbers will slowly dwindle throughout the season when they realise how s*** the football is. 2400 ST holders + 600 freebies + 1000 pay on the day + 500 away fans. There shouldn't be a Saturday home game with less than 4,000 fans. We will probably drop under 4,000 on a Tuesday night though.

One of my sons got his mate to become a Season Ticket Holder, and they both saved over £20 each, £189 for 23 League Games is a Bargain

I still think an adult one at £300 represents good value.
Obviously with discounts it gets even more appealing.
