Does seem strange 15 goals and 12 assists only Sako has more assists with 13.

I would have nathan Clarke in there above Harry Maguire this is more wrong than cox instead of sako.
Surprised Wilson is in there but this highlights the problem in that voting takes place too far from the end of the season and the gap between voting and declaring the winners is too long.
You would have thought that in a world of twitter, facebook, Instagram etc that voting would take place a fortnight before the end of the season (in a 48 hour window) with the awards a week later but we have professional footballers having to fill out paper forms for this as I understand.
You can't knock that majority of players are from brentford and wolves and assombolonga has been consistent throughout the season.
Maguire from sheff united is the one that I don't get but this is the great thing about football all about opinions.
The last side not to have a player in the league 1 side was promoted by the play offs (I made that bit up sounds plausible though? Shame Preston haven't got a player in the side it might have been true on second thoughts that's it I am having a bet on a Preston orient final).
