Watched Thunderbirds and UFO on me new telly. I couldn't believe it, they were both in HD, I'd never seen them like that before.
I don't know if they've digitally remastered them but I couldn't believe what I was watching, it looked like they were filmed this year.
They were so good that there was a slight 3D effect.
I'm a bit of a dab hand on the settings (years of practise, I'm always tweaking this or that) so I can dial it in to get the best pic.
I thought my old Samsung full array was good (never saw one better) but this one (Panasonic) is awesome.
Next step is getting more internet speed, I've got around 7 mbps to the TV at the mo, OK for HD but not for 4K.

The Shadows' Final Tour, right this very minute. It's on Sky Arts (freeview channel 11 where I am in Norfolk). Real music played by real musicians - goes on until 10pm

Their impact on the music industry was huge during their Abbey Road days and beyond.

Been watching on Britbox Our friends in the North drama series mapping out the political landscape from the sixties to the nineties in the North East. Great cast made around 1996. Many cast members have since gone on to achieve more. Strange I didn't watch it first time round.

I binge watched the New Clarkson Farm on Amazon last night. Really rather good and actually had me chuckling. Most of it was about his fight with the villagers over his plans to open a restaurant on his farm and the inevitable traffic congestion from his shop in a small village.

I’ve just finished season 4 of the blacklist and I didn’t think it could get better, but each season just improves every time. I’m loving this series. It’s well worth anyones time to sit down and watch it, it’s IMDB rating is well earned.

I watched The Day After Tomorrow today. I mean today I watched The Day After Tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll be able to say yesterday I watched The Day After Tomorrow... and it was a crock of you know what.

I wonder where the material for the show comes from? would that be an FBI insider ? or the writers imagination who knows, or who cares great entertainment.

Can highly recommend The Gold on BBC iPlayer. About the Brinks-MAT robbery in 1983 which many of you old timers here will remember well . Only 6 episodes which is how i prefer it these days, nice and short miniseries, ideally like this to be based on true stories. Excellent show this I actually went through all 6 episodes in one sitting! Another very good one is White Lotus, american HBO series 2 seasons of 6 episodes each. A bit like True Detective in that the seasons are not connected in any way and have completely different actors. They have been winning a whole load of awards in the last couple of weeks for this show.

Kenny Noye lives on the same road as my friend near brands hatch a few years ago I visited my friend and he pointed out Noyes house he had a Rolls Royce parked up in his living room I kid you not he must have built his front room around it still each to their own and I wasn’t going to knock on his door and ask him any questions 😹

I believe he bought a large plot of land and didnt get planning permission to knock down and rebuild the house and lo and behold there was a fire caused by an electric fault and he could build the massive lump that is there now! In general i find it interesting that a small group from "our" side of London were behind probably a large majority of the "spectacular" heists in this country in the last 50 years. That kind of crook is now a thing of the past I think.
