Watched the film Luther on Netflix kast night .....Excellent 👍👍 Thanks for the heads up as will be watching this later I went back and watched all the seasons of Luther before seeing the film. The early Luther seasons were the best in my opinion, the last season and the film hmmmmmm. Good but not as good as I thought it would be. |

Just finished watching "The Sandwich Man" on Talking Pictures. Filmed entirely on location in mid-1960s London, gentle and whimsical with a truly stellar cast throughout; one recalls a world once familiar but now sadly long gone: a place I am proud to say I once called home...

There must be some other Star Trek fans on here surely? Tonight I watched the new Picard episode and it was special, The Borg rock up, they get the Enterprise D back and they are heading at max warp to Earth! I was literally cheering in excited glee at what was unfolding. This season is what Picard should have been from the off. Love it and next Friday can’t come quick enough!
Also watched A Town Called Malice, not bad actually, what a soundtrack it has, pure 80’s an absolute delight in fact with the songs matching the scene really well.

Watched a trio of Ruben Östlund movies in the last week. Triangle of Sadness, Force Majeure and The Square. All brilliant in their own way.

Tonight I watched Monster Hunter with the kids and I actually pretty enjoyed it.
A 6/10.
Boys loved it.

And then I've just watched The Empire of Light on me own with a couple of beers.
Absolutely fantastic. 8/10. Superb acting and the old Empire cinema is dreamy. They don't build them like that nowadays.
